Homemade Veggie Burgers


I have been wanting to try to make my own veggie burgers for some time now. I finally got around to it the other day and they came out really well. Though next time, I would want to incorporate more vegetables and substitute brown rice for the bread crumbs.

Quick and Easy Veggie Burgers
1 can cannellini beans
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup parsley
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt
basil

Combine all ingredients in a food processor. I added the ingredients in stages in order to make sure that everything was well blended. Form the mixture into patties. I was able to make 4 medium sized patties.

Heat up a skillet and then add some olive oil. Allow the olive oil to heat up. Cook the burgers until they brown on each side.
